Dove Men+Care™ works with the CFL®
To help celebrate the All-Star Dad qualities that connect pro athletes and everyday men, Dove Men+Care™ is teaming up as an official Sponsor with the Canadian Football League†.
In 2011, Dove Men+Care™is continuing its dialogue with men about their journey toward feeling comfortable in their own skin as fathers by exploring the qualities that define today’s All-Star Dads. These qualities are reflected in the active and caring role these fathers play in their families’ lives vs. any physical ability or professional achievement.
Working together, Dove Men+Care™ has created two new engaging vignettes spotlighting CFL legends and All-Star Dads, Anthony Calvillo and Michael “Pinball” Clemons. These 30 and 90 second vignettes showcase behind the scenes footage of the CFL legends sharing special moments with their families and demonstrate why being a father is as much a part of what makes these athletes real “All-Stars” as are any of their athletic and professional achievements. The vignettes will air www.youtube.com/DoveMenCanada and www.cfl.ca/dovemencare starting May 17th.
Dove Men+Care™worked with former NHL star Brendan Shanahan and Detroit Red Wings coach, Mike Babcock, to produce similar vignettes, which aired during TV coverage of the NHL All-Star™game and Heritage Classic™and are also airing currently during the NHL playoffs.
Dove Men+Care™ is also helping Canada’s everyday All-Star Dads shine through a Canada-wide nomination process and contest hosted at Facebook.com/Dove. Three special All-Star Dads from the final group of 20 will receive a grand prize for their families. This will consist of a special all-inclusive CFL VIP Experience including a trip for four to the 99thGrey Cup® game at B.C. Place in Vancouver, with hotel room, round trip transportation and four tickets to the Grey Cup game.
All four Dove Men+Care™vignettes can be viewed at: www.youtube.com/DoveMenCanada.
