The Knorr Partnership Fund invests up to $ 1.5 million each year
We believe that sustainably grown food doesn’t just taste better, it’s also better for the planet. That’s why, in 2011 we set up the Knorr Partnership Fund. This invests up to $ 1.5 million globally every year into co-funded projects with suppliers for their farmers, and helps them meet, or go beyond, the requirements of our Unilever Sustainable Agriculture Code. So far, we’ve helped 27,000 farmers and farm workers across more than 100 projects globally to reap some real benefits.
Our landmark farmers are pioneering sustainable farming.
Sustainable farming is about more than just doing the basics—it’s about love, dedication and innovation. Around the world, our 40 Landmark Farmers are constantly striving for new ways to make every delicious veggie, herb and grain we produce more sustainable. They’re pioneers like our rice farmer in Arkansas and garlic farmer in California who use the latest technology to reduce how much water they use. It’s through the hard work of farmers like these that we’re helping inspire others to push the boundaries of sustainability.
Ensuring all 7 billion + of us have a dinner menu that’s always delicious and sustainable
Although the Knorr Partnership Fund and our Landmark Farmers have achieved a lot of good work so far, there’s still so much more we can do. So, go ahead and get cooking! The more oh-so-Instagramable breakfasts, better-than-a-supermarket-sandwich lunches, and Michelin star dinners you put together with Knorr, the more farmers we can help! Together we can discover sustainability innovations, while bringing delicious ingredients from farm to fork.
We’re creating a story of sustainability that isn’t just one story, it’s a thousand little ones that all come together to make the world a better, tastier place.
